Not sure which Mac you have? Apple menu → About This Mac. It says Chip (Apple Silicon) or Processor (Intel).

The first time you open it, you'll see a warning

The warning means Muraqib hasn't yet been verified with Microsoft and Apple through a paid certificate. It doesn't mean either of them found a problem with it, and it appears the first time only. The publisher is Rashid Alnaqbi General Trading, Abu Dhabi.

On Windows

  1. Open the installer you downloaded.
  2. A blue window says "Windows protected your PC". Click More info.
  3. Click Run anyway, then install as usual. Choose "Only for me".

On Mac

  1. Open the downloaded file and drag Muraqib into Applications.
  2. In Applications, right-click (or Control-click) Muraqib and choose Open.
  3. Click Open again in the message that asks if you're sure.

After installing

  1. Set a PIN

    6 to 12 digits. It can't be recovered, so write it down.

  2. Try the demo class

    One click loads four fictional classes so you can see every screen working. Remove them later from Settings.

  3. Or start with your class

    Create a class, then add or import your students.
